Welcome to Blood and Vegetables, a horror-lit blog with the occasional post about vegetarian cookbooks (even ghouls need to eat their greens). Here, you’ll find profiles of small presses, author interviews, and no-holds-barred book reviews with a vaguely literary bent (more careful deconstruction than all-out, limb-from-limb mayhem. Unless it’s a full moon, of course.)

As with any crypt, when you first move in, it takes a bit of time before you really get the cobwebs hanging the way you want, so please bear with me while I light the candles, move the coffins about, and do strange, dark things with HTML.

In the meantime, pull up a tombstone, make yourself comfortable, and get ready for some devilishly good reads…
